Helping purpose-driven organisations grow their impact – for good.
I work with organisations to help them engage their communities, build financial resilience, and create lasting change for people, climate, and nature.
What I do
Four ways I work with organisations.
Each engagement is shaped to the team and the moment. Most projects touch more than one of these.
Financial Resilience & Funding Strategy
Moving beyond grant dependency and stepping off the investment treadmill. I work with organisations to design sustainable revenue models - from membership models and B2B sales to crowdfunding and strategic partnerships.
Community Engagement & Growth
Helping organisations build and deepen relationships with their employees and the people they serve - turning passive audiences into active, loyal communities that drive both impact and income.
Early-Stage Startup Support
Offering strategic advice and hands on support to founders building impact driven organisations who want to get the fundamentals right from the start. Business model and process design, community building, and creating organisational resilience before the pressure to scale takes over.
Impact Measurement & Storytelling
Helping organisations understand, articulate, and amplify their impact - from theory of change design, stakeholder interviews, survey design and data analysis through to creating reports and narratives that genuinely move people.
About
Fourteen years building one thing taught me how to help others build theirs.
I've spent two decades at the intersection of social entrepreneurship, community building, and behaviour and systems change. Over that time, I've built, advised, and consulted startups, charities, and purpose-driven businesses.
Perhaps my proudest achievement is founding and running Do Nation for 14 years – a multi-award winning B Corp and behaviour change platform that engaged 70,000 people to save over 17,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually through their personal actions.
We pioneered an industry, shaping funding models from the ground up through a mixture of grant funding, angel investment, product partnerships, crowdfunding, and, predominantly, B2B sales. We worked with 500+ clients from PwC to WWF, innocent drinks to UCL, and grew organically to a team of 19 people, before closing the business gracefully in 2024.
That experience taught me something many impact organisations are still figuring out: community isn't just your mission – it's your most underutilised business asset. The most durable organisations aren't those who landed the biggest grant or closed a Series A, they're the ones who built genuine relationships with the people they serve, and found ways to turn that loyalty into sustainable income, through membership models, product development, crowdfunding, earned revenue, or partnerships with real depth.
Which is why I focus on working with organisations that put people at the heart of the solution to some of our world's biggest problems. More of that below.
Beyond that, I bring experience across strategy, employee engagement, impact measurement, and storytelling. I work best as a genuine thought partner and doer - I'm not a consultant who parachutes in with a framework, writes a report, and leaves you to deliver.
I'm London-based, currently taking on a small number of new clients, and I'd love to hear what you're working on.
(but do send a message with your invite please!)

Recent work
A few of my recent projects

Co-founded and chaired a community-led cycling event for people working on climate and nature. Recruited and managed a team of 14 volunteers to deliver a 4-day event with 45 participants, visiting regenerative farms and rewilding projects on route.
Led B2B partnerships to scale a climate micro-learning app, and designed and delivered a peer learning programme for sustainability leaders that resulted in a 225% increase in business adoption.
Joined the steering group of the Climate Action Fund's Learning and Support Programme, advising on business engagement strategy and helping shape how the fund connects with and supports climate-focused organisations.
Ran stakeholder interviews and developed a launch plan for employee volunteering programmes with GoVo client, while helping to shape and refine GoVo's consulting offer.
Led consumer behaviour change research from end to end – survey design, data analysis, and forging a significant retailer partnership around a large-scale national study.
Embedded as an expert advisor on employee engagement for one of the UK's leading sustainability consultancies, contributing strategic input across client projects.

Event facilitation
Regularly host and facilitate a range of sustainability industry events, including an AI for Good Hackathon, a Blue Earth Summit “Soap Box” session, and establishing Chamonix's monthly People Planet Pint meet ups.
Her deep & broad knowledge and expertise helped us to imagine new solutions and feel less constrained in tackling a multi-layered, complex task. Her input has massively helped in understanding the broader strategic ambitions of our work – and her enthusiasm for the topic makes her a delight to work with.
How I work
Five things you can count on.
- /01
Human first.
No corporate consulting bullshit – just honest, personal, and occasionally fun conversations about things that matter.
- /02
Unafraid to challenge.
I'll interrogate your assumptions, push back on the obvious answer, and ask the uncomfortable question. That's where the good stuff usually hides.
- /03
Hands-on and pragmatic.
I'm not here to hand over a framework. I think best when I'm in the room, riffing on ideas, iterating together, and making things work in practice.
- /04
Deeply collaborative.
Some of my best work happens in the messy middle of a good brainstorm. I love working with clients and colleagues, not just for them.
- /05
Impact-driven to the core.
I'm only interested in work that moves the needle on something that genuinely matters.

Some passion projects
Some things I do beyond the day job.
- GoodGymVolunteering as a Run Leader and Taskforce member for the Islington chapter of GoodGym, leading groups of around 10 volunteers to help out at a range of community gardens and foodbanks on Monday evenings.
- SubstackA space for me to practice writing. Currently, I'm sharing updates on a running challenge I'm undertaking, Running Offline. It's keeping me fit while connecting me very literally to the city I now call home and its people, parks, and wildlife - and giving me something to write about!
FoundrsAn active member of Foundrs, an invite-only community of ambitious entrepreneurs. I sit on the committee, ensuring that new members get a warm welcome and are well integrated.
